I borrowed TFTW from my friend Zelda and red it. Hey I’m trying to keep up! My thought on chapter 1.
Here we go again, more of the same old same old. Ok a blaze, the house burns down not once but twice. And then he says he looked quickly down next to the porch and found his old toys. Sure, I’ll buy that. I’m guessing there’s going to be lots of references to fires, heat, cooking and so forth in this book too.
Sorry if these things have already been discussed by you folks that red the book after it first came out but a fresh set of eyes never hurt.
Didn’t FF say his house burned down when he was like 2 years old? Maybe he was referencing originally built and then “re-built” having different dates…????
Thats probably it….
He was two when his house burnt down, so that would’ve made it possibly 1932 when they rebuilt. It doesn’t add up.
Why the 4 year descrepancy between ttotc and tftw of when ff’s house was built?
where does it say in TTOTC when the house was built
